Telepath can now automatically reply to new incoming private Telegram Business messages. You write the instructions and choose the conversations it can handle. AI follows that workflow and can hand the conversation back to you.

Make it work your way

  • Choose specific private chats, or explicitly allow all shared private chats.
  • Add your own OpenAI API key and choose a model available to your account.
  • Write instructions and optional keywords that trigger a conversation.
  • Choose the last 1–30 customer messages as context, with replies between them and limits on total length.
  • Set a daily API-request limit.

For example, an accommodation business can ask the AI to collect dates and guest details, then involve the owner before making a booking decision. The instructions stay saved and apply to eligible incoming conversations.

A person when it matters

If a customer asks for a person, or the AI decides to hand off, Telepath pauses that chat and notifies you in the bot. Replying manually also pauses AI. Paused conversations remain in Waiting for you, so they can be found again after the notification.

Resume manually, or choose an optional interval of 5 minutes to 24 hours of silence. New messages from either side extend timed pauses. Technical failures need manual review. When AI resumes, it handles the next new message rather than replaying messages from the pause.

Getting started

Open the Telepath bot → Main menu → Auto-reply. Configure your key, model, instructions and allowed chats. Save, test the connection and explicitly enable replies.
